The International Group for Equestrian Qualifications (IGEQ) does NOT have a qualification system nor run examinations. It is an independent, entirely voluntary, worldwide group of National Equestrian Federations (NF's) (currently 33), which has compared and harmonised member federations' national equestrian instructor qualifications to agreed standards. Membership of IGEQ is only open to National Equestrian Federations and is entirely voluntary.
An Equestrian Passport is available for suitably qualified instructors of riding, driving, vaulting and therapeutic, with eligible certification (click here for information) , which confirms and recognises the holder's qualifications, enabling recognition and acceptance in IGEQ member countries (subject to national legal requirements)..
